DESCRIPTION

The 62nd IPPS Western Region Annual Meeting will be in Temecula, CA at Pechanga Resort Casino from January 23-26, 2024. The Western Region will be hosting this meeting in conjunction with UC Nursery and Floriculture Alliance. There is an exciting line-up of speakers in progress who will focus on a range topics from water management to new plants.

We are also delighted to announce that the California Citrus Nursery Society (CCNS) will be co-joining the conference for specialized sessions and activities on January 25 and 26.

• Tuesday, January 23, 2024: IPPS-WR Pre-conference tour 
• Wednesday, January 24, 2024: Speaking Sessions in English and Spanish at Pechanga Resort Casino
• Thursday, January 25, 2024: Grower Tour in Escondido and Temecula areas. Evening banquet at Pechanga Resort Casino featuring California Secretary of Food and Agriculture, Karen Ross.
• Friday, January 26, 2024: Speaking Sessions in English only at Pechanga Resort Casino

CALL FOR POSTERS

In keeping with the IPPS motto of "To Seek and To Share," the Western North America Region of the International Plant Propagators' Society in conjunction with the University of California Nursery and Floriculture Alliance is seeking posters to be shared at the 2024 Annual Conference in Temecula, CA. All participants in the conference are welcome to submit posters, and all accepted posters will be published in the conference proceedings. ACCOMMODATIONS:

Hotel Information: Please make your hotel reservations separately. To make a reservation at the conference hotel, Pechanga Resort Casino, call 1-888-732-4264 for reservations. For the discounted conference rate, you must tell them you are with the International Plant Propagators' Society group, and provide the booking code 2138136 OR you may book on their website and enter the booking code online. Discounted rate is available until Friday December 22, 2023.
