The IPPS Europe 2023 Conference 'It's All About the Roots!' is taking place from 11-13 October 2023 in Scandinavia (Denmark & Sweden).

The 2021 International Board of Directors voted to accept at-large nominations for the 2021 International Award of Honor. Alan Jones was selected this year’s prestigious recipient. A video of his award is available here. Congratulations Alan!

In December, Alan Jones stepped down as Chair of the International Board having served four years in the role and a decade on the Board. He left the Society with a group of really committed members serving on the Board.

In light of the devastating global impact of the Coronavirus, all future scheduled International Tours will also be pushed back one year (for example: Japan was scheduled for 2021 and will now take place in 2022).

In light of the seriousness and uncertainty around the current COVID-19 pandemic, the executive committee of the Western Region IPPS has decided to postpone the 2020 International Tour and Western Region Annual Meeting, scheduled for June 2020.

Tim joined the IPPS on recommendation of his first tutor at Horticultural College whilst studying for a National diploma in Nursery Practices four decades ago.
